Love, John
Love, John, a Representative from Virginia; pursued an academic course; studied law; was admitted to the bar in 1801 and commenced practice in Alexandria, Va.; member of the State house of delegates 1805-1807; elected as a Democrat to the Tenth and Eleventh Congresses (March 4, 1807-March 3, 1811); served in the State senate 1816-1820; resumed the practice of law; died in Alexandria, Va., August 17, 1822.
