Carl von Clausewitz
Carl Von Clausewitz (July 1, 1780-November 16, 1831) was a German-Prussian soldier and military theorist who discussed the political and psychological aspects of war. He emphasized the unpredictable aspects of war, arguing that war cannot be quantified on maps and charts. His most notable work, On War, was unfinished at his death.
