						Lao-Tze was a philosopher (living somewhere between 600-400 B.C.) usually considered attached to the Zhou Dynasty in China. He is credited with writing Tao Teh King, one of the basic books of Taoism. In traditional religious forms of Taoism, Lao-Tze is revered as a deity.
