Paul the Apostle

Paul (c. 5 AD-67 AD) was an Apostle in the period of early Christianity. He was originally known as Saul of Tarsus until, on the road from Jerusalem to Damascus, he experienced a vision of the resurrected Christ. Paul quit persecuting Christians and began to preach and minister to both Jews and Romans about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Over half of the books in the New Testament are attributed to him.
