Canada's Colonization, 1000–1867

Canada's Colonization,1000–1867
Canada has a rich history. Before British and French explorers discovered North America, Native Americans were already living in the land. Later, explorers such as Jacques Cartier and Jacob Cabot journeyed to Canada, and soon after, European settlements were established, such as the city of Quebec in 1608. Since its time as a colony, Canada has grown to become more populated and influential.
