Christ, our blessed Savior, forbore to preach and teach until the thirtieth year of his age, neither would he openly be heard; no, though he beheld and heard so many impieties, abominable idolatries, heresies, blasphemings of God, etc. It was a wonderful thing he coul abstain, and with patience endure them, until the time came that he was to appear in his office of preaching.
