Appointment of John George Pappajohn as a Member of the Advisory Committee on the Arts October 31, 1985
The President today announced his intention to appoint John George Pappajohn to be a member of the Advisory Committee on the Arts (John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Smithsonian Institution). This is an initial appointment. He is president of Equity Dynamics, Inc., in Des Moines, IA. Previously he was president of Guardsman Life Investors Co.
Mr. Pappajohn graduated from the University of Iowa (B.S.C., 1952). He is married, has one child, and resides in Des Moines, IA. He was born July 31, 1928, in St. Lukes, Greece.
