Smith, Thomas, a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Pennsylvania; resided in Tinicum Township, Delaware County, Pa.; member of the State house of representatives in 1806 and 1807; elected as a Federalist to the Fourteenth Congress (March 4, 1815-March 3, 1817); moved to Darby Township (later Darby Borough) in 1815; justice of the peace at the time of his death in Darby, Delaware County, Pa., on January 29, 1846; interment in St. James’s (Old Swedes) Cemetery, Paschall (now a part of Philadelphia), Pa.
