Terrell, James C.
Terrell, James C., a Representative from Georgia; born in Franklin County, Ga., November 7, 1806; studied law; was admitted to the bar by an act of the legislature and practiced in Carnesville, Ga.; member of the State house of representatives 1830-1834; elected as a Union Democrat to the Twenty-fourth Congress and served from March 4 to July 8, 1835, when he resigned, before Congress convened, on account of ill health; died at Carnesville, Franklin County, Ga., December 1, 1835.
