Codification
The Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Technical Education Act of 1998, comprising this chapter, was originally enacted as part A of Pub. L. 88–210, Dec. 18, 1963, 77 Stat. 403, known as the Vocational Education Act of 1963, and classified to sections 35 to 35n of this title. Part A of Pub. L. 88–210 was subsequently redesignated as title I and amended generally by Pub. L. 90–576, title I, § 101, Oct. 16, 1968, 82 Stat. 1064, further amended by Pub. L. 91–230, Apr. 13, 1970, 84 Stat. 121; Pub. L. 92–318, June 23, 1972, 86 Stat. 235; Pub. L. 93–380, Aug. 21, 1974, 88 Stat. 484; Pub. L. 93–567, Dec. 31, 1974, 88 Stat. 1845; Pub.
