Hyneman, John M.
Hyneman, John M., a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., about April 25, 1771; received a common-school education; member of the State house of representatives in 1809; clerk of the orphans’ court 1810-1816; elected as a Democrat to the Twelfth and Thirteenth Congresses and served from March 4, 1811, until his resignation August 2, 1813; was not a candidate for renomination in 1814; commissioned a brigadier general in the Pennsylvania Militia; surveyor of Berks County in 1816; died in Reading, Berks County, Pa., April 16, 1816; interment in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
